Activity 1.1

Step 1: Select Paint Tool and select the Spirals from the Selector.

Step 2: Choose Red color from the Colors Palette.
Step 3: Select a point on the drawing screen and click 7-8 times for pattern.

Step 4: Select Paint Tool again and select the grass from the Selector.

Step 5: Choose Green color from the Colors Palette.

Step 6: Select a point on the drawing screen and click 7-8 times for pattern.

Step 7: Select Paint Tool again and select the Ball from the selector.

Step 8: Select a point on the drawing screen and click 7-8 times for pattern.

Step 9: Select Shape tool then select filled circle shape choose orange
color and draw a circle.
Step 10: Save the file by clicking on the Save Button.

Tux Paint is a computer program used to create colourful and fun drawings.

To open Tux Paint, double-click on the penguin icon on your computer.
The main window of Tux Paint has different parts like the canvas, toolbar,

colour palette, selector, and help area.
The toolbar contains important tools such as New, Paint, Eraser, Save, and Open.

The colour palette lets you choose colours for your drawing.
The selector helps you pick different shapes, brush styles, and other options.

When Tux Paint opens, you can start drawing on the blank canvas using tools like
shapes, lines, and paintbrush.
To save your drawing, click on the Save tool. You don’t need to type a file name.
