3.3 DESKTOP BACKGROUND

Aryan: I do not like this background image. Its too dark. Can I change it?
Gowri: Yes you can change background image. Just follow the steps:
1. Right click on an empty space on the desktop and click on Personalize.
(see Fig 3.2)

2. Click on Background
3. Choose picture from list or Browse the picture on your computer as shown in Fig 3.3

3.4 START BUTTON AND TASKBAR

Aryan: What is Start Button?

Gowri: When Start Button is clicked, it will display files and
folders in the computer, search option to search anything in
computer. It also gives option to Shut down.

Aryan: What is Taskbar?

Gowri: The taskbar is the long bar at the bottom of your computer screen
(in Windows). It shows open programs and apps so you can switch between
them easily. It usually has the Start button, search bar, time & date, and quick
access icons like volume or Wi-Fi. You use the taskbar to control and manage
what you're doing on the computer. Fig. 3.4
