Aryan: What is Word Processing?

                      Gowri: When we use a computer to create, edit and format text, it is called word processing.
                      You can create digital document using it.

                      Aryan: What do you mean by a document?

                      Gowri: A readable file stored in a computer can be termed as a document. An electronic copy
                      of any reference material for a product, project, person, place etc. is called a document.
                     Aryan: How do we create a document digitally?

                      Gowri: An electronic document is created using a word processor software.



                 Some examples of word processors are:

                 Microsoft Word, LibreOffice Writer, Google Docs and, Pages for iOS.





























                 We can create many different types of documents in it. I have seen my brother
                 doing it. Let us ask our teacher about it and learn it in class.


                 EXAMPLES OF VARIOUS TYPES OF DOCUMENTS
                 The teacher shows pictures of some of the documents to the students  (like a report

                 card, invitation card, or letter) and ask them if they have seen such documents
                 earlier or not.
