Changing text case: To change text case as per English language rules.
a. UPPERCASE: Converts selected text to uppercase.
b. lowercase: Converts selected text to lowercase.
c. Cycle Case: This is
special case which
works just like undo
/ redo option. It
converts the text in
a cycle of previously
applied text cases.
d. Sentence Case:
Makes first letter
of sentence capital.
Rest all in small case.
e. Capitalize Every
Word: Makes first
letter of every word
in sentence capital.
f. tOGGLE cASE: It
makes every capital
letter to small and
every small letter to Fig. 4.9
capital in selected text.
4.5 EDITING TEXT — SELECTING TEXT, CUT, COPY, PASTE,
UNDO, REDO
We can quickly make changes into our document by using cut/copy and paste options.
Cut is used to move a text.
Copy is used when we want to replicate the text.
Cut/Copy is use to move the text to the Clipboard Fig. 4.10
Paste is used to put the most recent text from the clipboard to the desired
location.
Undo reverses the last action, while Redo re-applies the action that was undone.
Shortcut keys to Cut is Ctrl+X, Copy is Ctrl + C, for Paste is Ctrl + V, for
Undo is Ctrl+Z and Redo is Ctrl+Y.
