9.3 SEARCHING FILES
Aryan: Thank you, one more thing I want to know that yesterday I created a file,
but I forgot the place where I have saved the file. Please help me to search the file
created by me.
Gowri: OK, I will tell you how you can search files.
Searching for a file can be done based on either its name or its file extension.
Select the folder in left pane in which you want to search.
If you forgot the folder, select this PC from left pane

When you type inside search box, Windows displays a Search Tools ribbon
(shown below), which provides numerous options you can select for your
search.

Choose the desired search criteria from the Search Tools ribbon. Windows
automatically displays in the file and folder list area any items that match
your search criteria.
The Address bar will also display Search results in [current folder name],
in the example above, Search results in This PC is displayed in the Address
bar.
If you want to save search criteria for a future search, you can save that
search by clicking on the Save search.
