6.1 WHAT IS LIBREOFFICE CALC?
Gowri went with her elder brother to a fruit shop to purchase oranges and apples as
her mother told that they are good for health. She went to the shop and found that
apples were Rs. 80 per kg and oranges were Rs. 50 per kg. Her brother

purchased 2 kg apples and 3 kg oranges. She saw that the shopkeeper
did the calculation on computer and told Gowri’s Brother to pay Rs. 310
giving him computer printed bill. Gowri was very surprised to see it. She
even asked her brother about it. Her brother told that there are many softwares

which are used for doing calculations and making bills.
