8.4 GENERAL PURPOSE
They are designed to solve wide variety of problems having different sets of inputs.
For Example – computers for banking, sales analysis etc.

8.5 SPECIAL PURPOSE
They are designed to do single specific task.

For Example: computer for military application or purpose, computers

at billing counters in malls etc.

8.6 HYBRID
Hybrid Computers are analog computers controlled by digital
computers instead of human beings.

Uses of Hybrid computers are: Hospitals, Meteorology
