Gowri and Aryan are so excited to come to computer class in new session. They
have learnt a lot about LibreOffice, Tux Paint and Scratch in their previous classes
and now want to explore more. So they decided to reach out to their teacher, who
welcomed all the students to the new class.

Teacher: Welcome everyone to new class. Let us explore more in LibreOffice
Impress. Let us start with exploring drawing tools. Please open drawing toolbar
everyone.

1.1 DRAWING TOOLS

We can make our
slide more attractive
using drawing tools.

Now, I can make
use of shapes
here as we did in
Writer.

Aryan: Have you opened the Drawing Toolbar.

Gowri: You can open Drawing Toolbar by clicking View-> Toolbar -> Drawing as
shown in Fig. 1.1.

Aryan: Here we have same options as in Writer to draw circle, arrows,
symbols, etc.

Gowri: Yes. Let us ask our teacher about all the options.
