Open a new file. Create five different slides using various master pages. After
saving the file, add one more slide and observe the options available under
‘Recently Used’.
1.3 WORKING WITH SLIDES
Students, you have learnt how to apply various themes to slides, and how to draw
and modify shapes. Now, let us learn about some functions used on slides.
1. Moving a Slide:
Position of a slide can be changed through Drag & Drop and Cut & Paste method.
a) Drag and Drop

b) Cut & Paste: Simply cut the slide you want to move using Ctrl+X and paste at
new position by pressing Ctrl+V.
2. Copy a Slide: You can make a copy of existing slide using any of the following:
a) Copy & paste: Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V you are very well familiar with these. Right!
Just apply.
b) Drag & drop: To make a copy of the slide using Drag & Drop (similar to as
discussed above in figures: 1.11, 1.12 & 1.13) you need to press the Ctrl key
while performing the action.
c) Duplicate Slide: Right-click on the slide and click on Duplicate Slide option
from the drop-down menu.
