1.5.3 Drawing a Rectangle
Gowri: Can you try drawing a rectangle now? Think—what changes do we need to make in
the code for a square? I am giving you a hint:
Opposite sides of a rectangle are equal but not all sides are the same. Come on..Tickle your
brain cells..You can do it.
Aryan: OK ..Let me think and give it a try.
I did it… I just worked on the hint that you gave.
1.5.4 Drawing a Star
Gowri: For all the hard work and shapes that you have drawn so far, I want to give you a star..
Here comes your STAR student:
Now, just observe the angles—I’ve used the same commands, only with different turning
angles to draw the star.
1.5.5 Drawing a Hexagon
Aryan: OK… I got it, Gowri! I understood how you changed the angles to make the star. I can
use the same concept to draw a hexagon too. Please let me try.
Gowri: Sure Aryan..go ahead and create whatever you want . If you've understood the concept
well, you will be able to make one without any problems.
