5.3 FORMATTING SHAPES AND IMAGES

We had options to move, resize and
rotate shapes and images in impress. Why not. Go ahead
Do we have all of them in writer? and try them all.

You are already familiar with the formatting of images and shapes. You can move, resize
and rotate your shapes and images.

Resize Rotate Move

Follow the given steps to resize:
i. Insert the required image or shape in your document.

ii. Select the image/shape. Selection handle will appear.
iii. Click and drag the handle inward to shrink or outward to enlarge the shape.
Follow the given steps to rotate:

i. Select the shape you want to rotate.
ii. Right click on the shape and select rotate option.
iii. Click and drag the rotation handle to rotate the shape clockwise or anti-clockwise.
Follow the given steps to move:

i. Select the shape you want to move.
ii. Click inside the shape (not on the handles).

iii. Drag the shape to the desired location within your document.

5.4 PRINTING A DOCUMENT
You can print the document you have prepared along with all the objects you have used in
your documents like images, shapes, text etc.
