The Internet of Things (IoT) is a smart system where devices like computers, machines,
and even people and animals can be connected to the Internet. These devices have a special
ID and can share information without needing people to control them directly.
A “thing” over the Internet of Things (IoT) may be a person with a heart monitor implant,
an animal with a biochip transponder, an automobile with built-in sensors that alert the
driver about the environment or vehicle information. It can also be any object that has an
Internet Protocol (IP) address and can transfer information over a network.
How IoT works?
The Internet of Things (IoT) consists of many web-enabled devices, such as microprocessors,
sensors, LEDs, and ICs. These devices collect information from their surroundings and
store it in memory. Mechanical devices are also connected to these systems to perform
certain actions based on the instructions received. IoT works using smart technology and
makes use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The Internet of Things helps us live in a smarter way. IoT enables systems to work
automatically, which helps save time and energy. It also provides real-time analysis.
Following are the examples of Internet of Things (IoT) Technology:
1. Operation of an automatic home system, operation of doors by smart gadgets, and
handling electrical equipment via a smartphone.
2. Automatic Collection of weather Information.
