Note: As we add more records in our Table “Contacts” our query will show those records
which fulfil the condition of “Delhi” city automatically. This is a very good feature in our
DBMS Base of LibreOffice.
Now, it’s your time to practice the above steps to create a query for better understanding.
Let us revise what we have learnt:
Ø Data represents facts and figures, while a database stores interrelated data
systematically.
Ø A Database Management System (DBMS) helps manage data by enabling users to
create, edit, and search within databases.
Ø Tables organize data in rows and columns, with each intersection forming a cell to
store information.
Ø A primary key uniquely identifies records, and data types define the kind of data in
each column.
Ø The Query Wizard in LibreOffice helps users create queries to retrieve specific data,
with automatic updates as new records are added.
