Storing and Managing Data
Computers are used to keep records of raw materials, number of products
made, and items sold. ICT also helps in tracking deliveries, managing orders,
and planning future production.
Example: A clothing factory uses a computer to track how many shirts have
been made and how many are left in stock.
Safety and Security
ICT also plays a big role in keeping the factory and workers safe. Alarms,
sensors, and smart systems can warn workers of danger like fire,
overheating, or accidents. CCTV cameras are used to monitor the factory
area.
Example: If a machine becomes too hot, the system stops it to prevent an accident.
