                 ROLE OF SHORTCUTS

In Windows, shortcuts serve as links to a file or folder, enabling quick access from different locations
without duplicating the actual item. They don’t store the file’s contents but simply direct you to the
original location, offering a faster way to open or navigate to the target.

            Creating a Shortcut

A shortcut will be created in the same location with the word Shortcut added to the file or folder name.

To create a shortcut, follow the given steps:

                  Right-click on the file or
1 folder for which you want
                  to create a shortcut.
