To copy/move a folder, follow the given steps:
3 Open the new location where you want to
copy or move the folder.
Open the location
containing the
1 folder you want to
copy/move.
Right-click on the folder Right-click on the empty
2 and select the Copy/Cut 4 area and select Paste

ROLE OF SHORTCUTS
In Windows, shortcuts serve as links to a file or folder, enabling quick access from different locations
without duplicating the actual item. They don’t store the file’s contents but simply direct you to the
original location, offering a faster way to open or navigate to the target.
Creating a Shortcut
A shortcut will be created in the same location with the word Shortcut added to the file or folder name.
To create a shortcut, follow the given steps:
Right-click on the file or
1 folder for which you want
to create a shortcut.
2 From the context menu,
select Create shortcut.
