CREATING HYPERLINKS IN POWERPOINT 2019

Hyperlinks allow you to link slides within the same presentation or connect to external resources such
as websites or files. They help make presentations interactive and easy to navigate.

Internal Hyperlinks
These links connect one slide to another slide within the same PowerPoint file. For example, you can
link a table of contents slide to different topic slides so that clicking on the topic jumps directly to that
slide.

External Hyperlinks

These links connect your presentation to external locations like a website, an email address, or another
file stored on your computer or network. For example, clicking on a hyperlink can open a web page in
a browser.

To create hyperlinks, select the text or object you want to link, then use the Insert --> Link feature to
choose either a slide in the presentation (internal link) or enter a URL or file path (external link).
