Understanding Digital Ethics

Digital ethics refers to the moral challenges and responsibilities associated with the use of digital
technologies. This includes the ethical use of personal data, online communication, cybersecurity,
and the impact of emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence and blockchain. It aims to guide
individuals and organisations in making responsible decisions about their digital actions and their
                 impact on society.

                 Ethical Issues in Digital Environments

There are several ethical issues in digital environments, including:

Privacy and Data Protection: This refers to how personal information is collected, stored, and
shared online. It involves ensuring that individuals have control over their data and that it is not
misused by companies, governments, or malicious actors. Protecting privacy includes having clear
consent from users before collecting their data and safeguarding sensitive information to prevent
                   breaches.
