2. Right pane features tiles. A tile is an
application icon.
SEARCH BOX
Search Box is located right next to the
Start button on the taskbar. It is used
to search different programs, files and Right Pane
folders.
NOTIFICATION AREA Left Pane
Notification area is located at the right
corner of the Taskbar. It displays time,
date, Internet connection, etc.
PEEK BUTTON
It is also known as Show Desktop button. This button To show the desktop:
minimises all the opened programs and displays the
desktop. Short key
You can go back to the program you were working on, by + D
clicking the Show Desktop button once again.
CLOCK
It is located on the right side of the taskbar. It displays current date and time.
Changing Date and Time
1 Right-click
To change the date and time, follow these steps: on Clock.
2 Click on Adjust
date/time option.
3 Click on
Change button.
