A new presentation opens with a blank slide with two placeholders which is called the
Title slide. We use the Title slide to add an introduction to our presentation.

Let us create a presentation on the topic, ‘Our Environment’.

CREATING A TITLE SLIDE

A title slide displays the text placeholder, where the text is to be typed.

1 Click on the Title text
placeholder box and enter
title for the presentation.

2 Click on the Subtitle
text placeholder box
and enter a subtitle for
the presentation.

ADDING A SLIDE TO THE PRESENTATION

After creating the Title slide, we add more slides to our presentation.

To add a new slide, follow the given steps:

1 Click on the Slide menu.

2 Click on New Slide option
from the drop-down menu.

Short key To insert a new slide:

Ctrl
+
M

New slide will be added with Title and Content Layout.
