OUTLINE VIEW
The presentation’s slides are all shown in the outline format in the order that they are placed
in the Slides pane. It displays each slide’s topic headers, numbered lists, and bulleted lists.
In this view, only the text present in the slide is displayed. Text boxes and other graphic
elements that you have added to the slides would not displayed in this view. This view is
useful for quickly browsing the presentation or reviewing the presentation. It is useful for
editing the text since the text of several slides appears on the screen simultaneously.

NOTES VIEW
In the Notes view, the slides are displayed in a reduced form on top of the page. Towards
the bottom side, there is a text box in which notes for the slide can be added. It is used for
adding notes to the slides for inserting additional information related to the slides. During
your presentation, the speaker notes are visible on your monitor, but aren’t visible to the
audience. So, the Notes pane is the place to store brief discussion points that you want to
mention when you give your presentation.
