WEBSITE
A website is a collection of related web pages that provide information. The first page of
a website is called the home page. The home page gets displayed first when we open any
website. The home page contains hyperlinks to other pages of the website.
URL (UNIFORM RESOURCE LOCATOR)
Every website and web page has a unique address called Uniform Resource Locator
(URL). We can open a website very easily if we know its URL. Examples of URLs are:
https://www.orangeeducation.in/ and https://www.cbse.gov.in/
The URL or the web addresses of websites start with http://. The address of some websites
such as a bank, e-commerce, etc. start with https://. Here ‘s’ stands for secure which
means the website is secured for browsing.
