LibreOffice Impress is a very useful software application which is used to create
electronic presentations. It allows the user to create dynamic presentations that may
include animation, narration, images, videos, graphs, diagrams, etc. to make the
presentation interesting, engaging and easier to understand. A presentation is made
up of several slides. In this chapter, you will learn how to insert audio and video into a
presentation. You will also learn about slide transitions, custom animations and how to
run a slide show.
INSERTING AUDIO AND VIDEO FILES
LibreOffice Impress provides the facility to insert audio and video files to the slides that
can be played while presenting.
To insert an audio file, follow the given steps:
1 Click on the Insert menu.
2 Select the Audio
or Video option.
The Insert Audio or Video dialog box appears.
3 Navigate the folder to find audio file.
4 Select the audio file.
5 Click on the Open button.
