To add animations to a presentation, follow the given steps:
2 Click on the View menu. 1 Select the object or text that is to be animated.
3 Select the Animation
option.
4 Click on the Add button under the Effects section in the Animation deck.
5 Select the desired
effect category from the
Category drop-down list.
6 Select the desired
animation effect from
the Effect list box.
7 Click on the Play button to see how the animation looks.
You can also open the Animation deck by clicking the Animation button in the Sidebar.
There are five categories of animations in Impress. These are:
Entrance Effects: This effect defines how the object will enter or appear during the slide
show on a slide.
Exit Effects: This effect determines how animated slide objects leave the slide area. In
other words, it is used to exit the slide show with animations.
