A range of cells can be selected in the following ways:
Mouse: Left-click on the first cell, then drag the mouse to the last cell to select
the range.
Keyboard: Use the Arrow keys to move the cursor to the first cell of the range. Then, press
and hold the Shift key and use the Arrow keys to select the range of cells.
Mouse + Keyboard: Left-click on the first cell of the range, then press and hold the Shift
key. While keeping the Shift key pressed, move the cursor to the last cell of the range and
left-click again.
By typing the cell range: In the Name Box (the box to the left of the formula bar), type the
range in the format <Address of the 1st cell>:<Address of the last cell>. For example, enter
B2:D6 in the Name Box and press the Enter key.
You can deselect the range of cells by clicking anywhere on the sheet.
SELECTING MULTIPLE CELLS
To select a group of cells that are not next to each other, click on the first cell. Then, while
holding down the Ctrl key, click on the other cells you want to select. All the selected cells
will be highlighted.

To select entire spreadsheet, click on the blank box between column and row header.
