WHAT IS ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI)?
Artificial Intelligence is the ability of a computer
program or machine to think and learn. It enables
machines to perform tasks that normally require
intelligence. In simple terms, machines that mimic
human behaviour are said to be artificially intelligent.
AI can be defined as a computer program capable of
executing tasks that require intelligence.
Tasks that involve learning, planning, and problem-solving, which are usually performed by
humans or trained intelligent animals, can be accomplished by such systems.
For example, AI can:
• Recommend videos, products, or music based on your past preferences.
• Clean a room using sensors and decision-making algorithms.
