Hello Children, today we will learn about blocks that are
used to create projects in Microsoft Makecode Arcade.

MakeCode Arcade provides a block-based programming platform in which a solution to the
problem is implemented with the help of various categories of blocks. It also allows the user to see
the results simultaneously on the same screen. MakeCode Arcade uses a similar platform that we
have already used for block coding like Scratch, Code.org, etc.

GETTING STARTED WITH BLOCK CODING

Let us now learn the steps to use the MakeCode Arcade platform by following the given steps:

1 Type the following URL in any web browser you like: 3 Give a name and click
https://arcade.makecode.com/ and press the Enter key. on Create button.

2 Click on
New Project.

4 Click on Game block. Drag
and drop the block on the stage. 5 Add the blocks as shown.
