Word 2016 provide us with various tools and features to arrange and represent data
                  impressively. One of the useful features of Word is arranging data and information
                  neatly in the form of tables.




                            WHAT IS A TABLE?

                  A table is an arrangement of text in the form of rows and columns. A row is a horizontal
                  arrangement of data and a column is a vertical arrangement of data. An intersection of a

                  row and a column is called a cell.



                            INSERTING A TABLE


                  Word  2016 provides  two  options  to  insert  a  table:  graphic  grid  and  insert  table.

                  To insert a table using the graphic grid, follow the given steps:



                                                   1  Click on the Insert tab.




                     2  Click the drop-down
                     list of the Table button.



                       3  Select the required
                      number of rows and
                      columns by dragging
                      the mouse.








                                          4  Release the mouse button.



                  The table with selected rows and columns is displayed on the document.
