ACTIONS OF A MOUSE


                 Pointing and Clicking are the two main actions of a mouse. Pointing means to
                 point at something using a mouse pointer, whereas Clicking means selecting

                 any object or item. Many actions can be performed using a mouse.
                                                                                                        Click

                 SINGLE-CLICK

                 When we click  the left mouse  button  once, it  is called a
                 single-click or click. This selects an item.

                   Click Click      DOUBLE-CLICK





                                    When we click the left button twice continuously, it is called a
                                    double-click. This opens an item.







                 RIGHT-CLICK                                                                                     Click

                 When we press the right button of a mouse once, it is called

                 a right-click. We right-click to see a list of actions we can
                 perform with an item.



                              move      release     CLICK AND DRAG
                  press                             Click  and  drag means  pressing  the  left mouse

                                                    button and moving the mouse while keeping the

                                                    left button pressed. We use click and drag to move
                                                    an item from one point on the screen to another.





                 SCROLL

                 When we move a page up and down on the monitor, it is
                 called scrolling. We can scroll a page by rolling the scroll

                 wheel up and down.
