USING THE CAMERA TOOL

The Camera Tool lets you take real photos with your device’s camera (like on a
laptop or tablet) and use them as characters or backgrounds in your stories or

games. Follow the given steps in Paint Editor to take a photo from your device:

2 Click on the
Drawing area.

1 Click on the
Camera tool.

5 Click on the Save button.

3 Adjust in front
of the camera.

4 Click on the
Camera button.

MAKING CHARACTERS TALK

In ScratchJr, you can make your character talk. To do this, you use the Say
block. This block makes a speech bubble with words. Your character can say

anything you want. For example, you can make your character say "Hi!" or
"How are you?"

Follow the given steps to make your characters talk:

1 Create a new project and click
on the Background button.
