SELECTING TEXT USING THE MOUSE

To select a particular text, place the cursor before the text to be selected and then
press the left button on the mouse and drag the mouse over the text while keeping

the left button pressed. To select a paragraph, triple-click on it.

DELETING TEXT

Word 2021 allows you to remove a character, word, sentence or paragraph by using
the Backspace or Delete key.

Deleting a character: To delete a character on the left side of the cursor, press
Backspace key. To delete a character on the right side of the cursor, press

Delete key.

Deleting a word: Select the word you want to delete and then press the Delete or
Backspace key.

Deleting a sentence or paragraph: Select the sentence or paragraph, you want
to delete and press the Delete or Backspace key.
