FORMATTING SHAPES

Word 2021 allows us to format the shape by changing its outline colour, filling colour
into the shape and by applying the various shapes effects to the shape. This is done

under the Shape Format tab.

▶ Graphics can be inserted into Word documents.

▶ WordArt is used to display text as decorative graphics.

ADDING TEXT INTO A SHAPE

To add text into a shape, follow the given steps:

2 Click on the Add Text option.

3 Type the desired text.

1 Select the shape and right-click on it.
