▶ A presentation is a sequential display of information using text, graphics and audios.
▶ An individual page in a PowerPoint presentation is called a slide.
CREATING A NEW PRESENTATION
A presentation is a collection of various slides. When you first start PowerPoint,
the program automatically starts a new presentation for you and names it
‘Presentation 1’.
To create a new presentation, open PowerPoint 2021 and click on the Blank
Presentation option in the backstage view.
A new presentation opens with a blank slide with two
placeholders which is called the Title slide. We use the To insert a new slide:

CREATING A TITLE SLIDE
A title slide displays the text placeholder, where the text is to be typed.
1 Click on the Title text placeholder
box and enter title for the presentation.
2 Click on the Subtitle
text placeholder and
enter a subtitle for the
presentation.
