A computer requires the following things to connect to the

Internet:

Modem: The modem stands for modulator-demodulator.

Telephone Connection: A telephone connection acts as a
medium to transfer data from one computer to another.

Internet Connection: An Internet connection is
provided by many Internet Service Providers (ISP)

on payment of a monthly fee. Some of the ISPs are
BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited), Jio, Airtel,

Vodafone Idea, etc.

Web Browser: A web browser is

a software used to open various
web pages and fetch or retrieve

information from the World Wide
Microsoft Mozilla Google Safari
Edge Firefox Chrome Web. Some of the most commonly
used web browsers are: Microsoft

Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari.
