Digital Versatile Disc (DVD)

A DVD looks like a CD and can store up to six times more data than a CD.
There are two types of DVDs:

Digital Versatile Disc-Recordable (DVD-R): It allows only one-time DVD
                   recording.

Digital Versatile Disc-Rewritable (DVD-RW): It allows to delete and rewrite data on it.

                               Blu-ray Disc

The Blu-ray is an optical disc storage device. It is called Blu-ray because it
uses a blue/violet laser light to read and write data. It is used to record and
store high-definition videos and can store up to 25 GB of data which is over
Blu-ray Disc five times more data than a DVD.

PURE A DVD and Blu-ray Disc can store up to 4.7 GB of data and 25 GB of data,
                     FACT respectively.

                 Pen/Flash Drive
A pen drive is a small-sized storage device. It can be carried from one place

to another in a pocket. It is used to transfer data from one computer to another
and can be connected to the Universal Serial Bus (USB) port of a computer.
                                                                                                          Pen Drive
                                   Memory Card
It is also known as multimedia memory card. It is very small in size usually
1-1.5 inches. These are used in various electronic devices like mobile

Memory Card phones, digital cameras, etc. You need to have a card reader to read the
stored data on a memory card.

                 Solid State Drive (SSD)

An SSD is a type of storage device that holds information, like your pictures, games and
documents. An SSD uses the technique of flash memory to store data. It is much faster than
a hard disk. SSDs are more durable and reliable than hard disks. They come
in various capacities, typically 128 GB to several TBs. Nowadays, desktop
computers and laptops come with SSD instead of traditional hard disk. SSD
