To insert a table using the Insert Table option, follow the given steps:
1 Click on the Insert tab.
2 Click the drop-down
list of the Table option.
3 Click on the Insert
Table option.
4 Enter a desired number
in the Number of columns
and Number of rows.
5 Click on the
OK button.
The table with the entered number of columns and rows appears on the screen
Tick ( ) if you know this.
▶ A table is an arrangement of text in the form of rows and columns.
▶ Alignment refers to the placement of text with respect to the left margin.
