SELECTING DIFFERENT PARTS OF A TABLE
Word 2021 allows you to select the cell, row and column.
To select a row, click in the row selection To select a cell,
area of the row you want to select. double-click in the cell.
To select a column: Hover the mouse at the top of a column. The
mouse pointer changes to a downward pointing arrow then click
on the column to select it.
You can also select the adjacent cells by clicking on a cell and dragging through the rows
or columns. You can select an entire table using the
Table Move Handle located at the upper-left corner
of the table when you hover your mouse over it. What is the WYSIWYG?
INSERTING A ROW/COLUMN IN A TABLE
To insert a row/column in a table, follow the given steps:
1 Right-click in the cell
where you want to insert
row/column and click on
the Insert option.
2 Select the
desired option.
You can also insert a cell in Word 2021. To insert a cell, Right-click in
the cell Click on the Insert option from the context menu Select
the Insert Cells option from the sub-menu Choose the desired
option from the Insert Cells dialog box Click on OK button.
