MODIFYING BACKGROUND

We can add a plain or textured background to our slides to enhance the appearance of

our presentation. To modify the background of your presentation, follow the given steps:

2 Click on Design tab. 3 Click on the Format Background option.

6 Select the desired
colour from the
Colors palette.

5 Click on the Fill
Color down arrow.

1 Select a slide. 4 Select the Solid fill option.

The Background colour is applied to the selected slide. To apply background colour to all

the slides, you can click on the Apply to All option.

GRADIENT FILL
Gradient can be defined as a combination of two or more colours mixing into each other.
To apply gradient fill, follow the given steps:

2 Click on Design tab. 3 Click on the Format Background option.

4 Select the Gradient
fill option.

5 Select the pattern you
want to apply to your slide
as a background from the
Preset gradients option.

1 Select a slide. 6 Select the type of 7 Select the desired direction of gradient fill by
gradient pattern. clicking the down arrow of the Direction option.
