INSERTING AUDIO
To make a presentation more effective and lively, you can add audio. PowerPoint allows
you to add audio files from your computer or record voice directly within the presentation.
To insert an audio file, follow the given steps:
2 Click on the Insert tab. 3 Click on the Audio drop-down arrow.
4 Click on the Audio on My PC option.
1 Select the slide in which
you want to add audio.
6 Select the desired audio file.
5 Browse the location where
the audio file is stored.
7 Click on the Insert button.
The audio file gets inserted in the slide.
8 Click on the Play/Pause button to play
You can insert different audio file types, such or pause the audio.
as AIFF Audio (.aiff), MP3 (.mp3), Advanced
Audio Coding - MP4 Audio (.mp4), Windows
Audio (.wav) and Windows Media Audio
(.wma), etc.
When you click the audio icon, two tabs called
Audio Format and Playback appear on the
Ribbon.
You can also record audio in the
presentation by using the Record
Audio option. Play button Record button
