▶ The feature of entering sequential data in the cells of a worksheet is called AutoFill.
▶ When we select a cell, a solid square called the Fill Handle appears at the bottom-right
corner of the cell.
CHANGING THE COLUMN WIDTH AND ROW HEIGHT
The width and height of every row and column are the same by default but Excel allows us
to modify the column width and row height.
CHANGING THE COLUMN WIDTH
To change the column width to a specific value, follow the given steps:
1 Select the column and
click on the Format option
in the Cells group.
3 Specify the new
Column Width value.
4 Click on OK button.
2 Select the Column
Width option.
The width of each selected column will be changed as per the new width value specified.
