tasks like calculating numbers, scanning pages, sharing files, etc. Examples of
productivity apps are Calculator, Square Register, etc.
ENTERTAINMENT APPS
These apps are designed to entertain the users and their main focus is to keep users busy. These
apps help us in making our free time enjoyable and interesting.
Examples of entertainment apps are Netflix, Amazon Prime
Video, Podcast, YouTube, Kindle, etc.
GAMING APPS
These apps share more than 24% area of the app store. They help users
improve their cognitive skills and focus if used correctly within a time
constraint. Examples of gaming apps are Subway Surfer, Sudoku, Trivia
Crack, etc.
COMMUNICATION APPS
Communication apps allow us to communicate with each other by sending and receiving
messages, information and opinion in the form of texts, videos and
audio. These apps also allow us to see the face of the person to whom
we are talking. Examples of communication apps are Microsoft Teams,
WhatsApp, etc.
E-COMMERCE APPS
E-commerce means buying or selling products on online services
over the Internet. E-commerce apps allow us to buy or sell products
while sitting at home or any other place. Examples of E-commerce
apps are Amazon, Blinkit and Paytm.
