The mouse and the keyboard are the parts of a computer. You will learn about
them in this chapter.
Mouse
A mouse is an important part of a computer. It is a pointing device. The mouse
helps us to tell the computer what to do.
The other uses of a mouse are:
to draw pictures.
to play games.
to give commands to the computer.
to point different things with the help of a pointer
on the screen.
Mouse Buttons Scroll wheel
A mouse can have two or three buttons.
Left button Right button
This mouse has two buttons and
a scroll wheel. This is called a
scroll mouse.
Mouse Pad
A mouse pad is a small surface on which
a mouse is placed. A mouse pad helps in
the smooth movement of a mouse.
