Word is an application software that is used to type text.
Making changes in the existing text is called editing the document.
Cutting the text means text will disappear from its original location and will appear
at another location where it will be pasted.
Copying the text means the text will remain at its original location as well as at the
place where it will be pasted.
Undo is used to cancel the command and Redo is used to reverse the action of the
last Undo command.
We can get error-free documents using the Spelling & Grammar check feature in
Word.
Thesaurus is used to find a synonym for a word in the document.
Formatting is used to improve the appearance of text in a document.
Font is the look of the character on the screen.
Highlighting text means marking the important text and placing a coloured rectangle
over it.
The Text Effects button allows us to apply some pretty cool effects to the text.
The position of the text or the way the text is set with respect to the margins in a
document is called alignment.
Change Case option changes the text to upper case, lower case or other common
capitalisations in Word.
A bullet is a small symbol used to mark each item in a list.
Line Spacing is the blank space between two lines in a paragraph.
