Here we have added a Farm backdrop. Notice that the thumbnail of the backdrop
appears in the Sprites Info Pane.

Changing Appearance of the Sprite

You can also change the appearance of the Sprites. To do so, follow the given steps:

1 Click on the Costumes tab.

3 Click on the Fill
and Outline options
to change the
colours of the cat
and the outline.

2 Select the part of
a sprite by clicking
on it or select the
entire sprite by
making a selection
by dragging.

Exiting Scratch

Click on the Close button in the Title bar. If

you have an unsaved project, Scratch will ask
to save it.

Clicking on the Stay option will bring you back
to the Scratch window. If you click on the
Leave option, Scratch window will close.

Duplicate Scripts and Blocks by right-clicking and
selecting Duplicate.
