Splitting Cells
Splitting refers to dividing one cell into two or more cells. To split a cell, follow the
given steps:
3 Click on Split Cells command. 2 Click on Layout tab from the Table Tools.
1 Select the cell that you want to split.
4 Enter the desired number
for columns into the
Number of columns box
and number of rows into
the Number of rows box.
5 Click on OK button.
Moving and Resizing Tables
Moving a table means changing the position of the table from one place to another.
Resizing a table means increasing and decreasing the size of the table.
To move a table, follow the given steps:
Step 1 Move the mouse pointer over the table. The Move Table Handle will appear
on the top left corner of the table.
