                       Excel is the most commonly used interactive spreadsheet program that allows us to
                      perform mathematical calculations, analyse data, and store data in tabular format.
                       An Excel file is called a workbook.

                       A workbook is a collection of worksheets.
                       A worksheet is the main working area in an Excel window where we can enter data.
                       The intersection of a row and a column is called a cell.

                       Rows are numbered from top to bottom along the left edge of the worksheet as 1, 2,
                      3, ... and so on.
                       Columns are labelled from left to right with letters such as A, B, C, D,... .
                       Data can be entered in cells directly or by using the Formula bar.
