Robots  are  automatically  operated  machines  that  work  in  place  of  humans.  It  is
                 not  necessary  that  they  look  like  humans  by  appearance  or  perform  exactly  like
                 humans. Robotics is a branch of engineering and science that deals with the design,

                 construction and functioning of robots.





                               The first industrial robot was introduced to the U.S. in the 1960s.




                 As you have already studied various applications of robots in personal assistance,
                 caregiving, education and entertainment. Now, let us study about some of the latest
                 robots.


                 T-HR3


                 Like real-world human avatar, T-HR3 is a humanoid that mimics the movement of its
                 human operator.

                 In future-these humanoids can perform surgeries while their human operator doctor
                 could control them from another part of the world.
