You must have seen a computer. They come in all shapes and sizes. Let us learn about
the types of computer.
Desktop
Features of a desktop:
We keep it on a desk or a table.
It is commonly used in homes, schools
and offices.
Laptop
Features of a laptop:
It is called a laptop because we mostly keep it on our lap
while working.
We can carry a laptop anywhere.
In a laptop devices such as monitor, keyboard and mouse are present as a single unit.
Tablet
Features of a tablet:
It is also known as tab. It is smaller than a laptop.
It works similar to a laptop but it doesn't have any physical
keyboard.
It is operated by a finger through a touchscreen.
Some tablets allow us to make phone calls.
