One of the greatest achievements of Alan Turing is the creation of Bombe, a machine that
                 could decode encoded messages.






                                                   In 1956, John McCarthy, coined the term Artificial Intelligence
                                                   in a conference. He created the programming language LISP in
                                                   1958 which was extensively used to program AI systems. He is
                                                   known as 'Father of AI'.

                 1960s

                 In this decade, the first chatbot ELIZA was created in MIT Artificial Intelligence Laboratory by
                 Joseph Weizenbaum, in 1966. This is what it looked like:

                 1970 to 1990s


                 In 1973,  WABOT was created by  Ichiro Kato. This was the first step towards building a
                 humanoid robot. WABOT walked with his lower limbs and was able to grip and transport
                 objects with his hands.
