SDG 15: Life on Land

This aims at protecting, restoring and promoting the sustainable use of
terrestrial ecosystems, managing forests, fighting deforestation, reversing

land degradation and stopping biodiversity loss. In future, AI methods may
be used to create a digital dashboard for the planet, to help us monitor,
model, foresee and manage environmental systems on a global scale.

SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions

This aims to guarantee justice and freedom for all people by 2030. The
target is to significantly reduce all forms of violence with communities and
governments to end conflict and insecurity.

SDG 17: Partnership for the Goals

To be successful in achieving goals as large as SDGs, it is very much

required to have partnerships between the stakeholders like government,
the private sector and civil society. The sharing has to be of knowledge,
expertise, technology and financial resources to support and achieve
sustainable development goals in all the countries. AI can be a vital tool
for the global community to achieve the targets of the United Nations

Sustainable Development Goals. Asia and the Middle East have already instigated to focus on
AI as a part of their development strategy and economic growth.

AI AND ITS ROLE IN ADVANCING SDGS

Artificial Intelligence plays an important role in supporting the achievement of the 17
Sustainable Development Goals by using data, technology, and intelligent systems to solve
real-world problems. When combined with responsible human action, AI becomes a powerful
                 tool for sustainable development.

                 SDG 1 – No Poverty

AI helps governments and organisations analyse
income patterns, satellite images, and social data
to identify regions affected by poverty. This allows

                 welfare schemes, subsidies, and employment
programmes to reach the right people more
effectively. As responsible individuals, we can support
                 poverty-reduction initiatives and ensure technology

is used to promote social protection and fairness.

                                                                            Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 77
