SDG 2 – Zero Hunger
AI supports precision farming by predicting crop diseases,
analysing soil health, optimising irrigation, and forecasting
crop yields. These technologies help farmers increase
productivity and reduce food shortages. At the community
level, reducing food waste, supporting local farmers, and
donating surplus food strengthens food security.
SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being
AI assists doctors in early disease detection, analysing
medical images, managing patient data, and predicting
disease outbreaks. Virtual health assistants improve access
to healthcare in remote areas. Alongside this, citizens
must follow healthy lifestyles, participate in awareness
programmes, and support mental and physical health
initiatives.
SDG 4 – Quality Education
AI enables personalised learning by adapting lessons
to a student’s pace and needs. It supports automated
assessments, instant feedback, and language translation,
making education more inclusive. Individuals can further
support education by volunteering, mentoring, and
promoting lifelong learning within their communities.
SDG 5 – Gender Equality
AI tools help identify gender gaps in education,
employment, and pay by analysing large datasets. AI is
also used to detect online harassment and reduce bias
in recruitment systems. As members of society, we must
challenge stereotypes, promote equal opportunities, and
support organisations working towards gender equality.
